The AES6001 is a compact, high-performance Layer 3 Ethernet switch featuring 24×10GE SFP+ ports and 6×100GE QSFP28 uplinks, with the 100GE interfaces offering backward compatibility to 40GE. Tailored for high-density access and aggregation in modern data centers, this switch delivers the flexibility and throughput required for evolving workloads. Designed with 1+1 redundant power supplies and 3+1 hot-swappable fans, it ensures business continuity and efficient front-to-back airflow, supporting energy-efficient operations in high-demand environments. With VXLAN, EVPN, and MLAG capabilities, the AES6001 enables scalable, virtualized Layer 2/3 deployments in multi-tenant architectures.

Supporting full-featured Layer 2/3 routing protocols—including OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, and MPLS—this switch also provides hardware-based traffic visibility via sFlow and RSPAN. With IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack support, fast failure detection through BFD, and link redundancy via ERPS and VRRP, the AES6001 ensures network resilience and responsiveness. Its built-in security framework includes ACLs, ARP inspection, CPU protection, and SSH/SSL encryption. Flexible management through CLI, Web UI, SNMP, Telnet, and USB makes the switch easy to configure and operate in enterprise and cloud-scale data center environments.
